Day 1

Visit Location 1

Litchfield National Park- Beautiful waterfalls cascading over a sandstone tabletop range into tranquil plunge pools created by nature for swimming.

Swim at Wangi falls, Florance falls & Buley Rock Holes. View the amazing magnetic & cathederal termite mounds. Walk through pristine monsoon forests, eucalypt savanna woodlands & sandstone habitat.

Day 2

Meals : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

 

Visit Location 1

Katherine gorge-2 hr scenic cruise through Katherine gorge in Nitmiluk National Park. Opportunity to view fresh water crocodiles.

 

Overnight camp Manyallaluk community campground

 

Day 3

Meals : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

 

Visit Location 1

Day spent with local aboriginal community, learn their culture as they demonstrate traditional skills of fire making, spear throwing, basket weaving, painting and bush tucker walk

An incredible insight to ancient aboriginal Culture.

Day 4

Visit Location 1

Edith falls-beautiful large plunge pool for a relaxing swim or hike 20 mins to escarpment top to enjoy a swim beneath the numerous water falls and plunge pools                           

 

Visit Location 2 Enter Kakadu- To Gunlom falls, swim then relax by camp fire in idyllic camp ground setting

Day 5

Visit Location 1

Maguk (Barramundi gorge)- 3o min walk along pristine monsoonal creek to spectacular waterfall and plunge pool for a refreshing swim.                           

 

Visit Location 2 Warradjan aboriginal cultural center, one of Australia’s best cultural information centers, portraying 60 thousand yrs plus of aboriginal habitation of Kakadu to modern times

 

Visit Location 3

World renown Yellow Waters boat cruise on floodplains of South Alligator river. Amazing variety of floodplain birdlife, saltwater & freshwater crocodiles, diversity of wetland habitats

Day spent visiting Kakadu’s most renown waterfalls. JimJim falls & Twin falls. Swimming, bushwalking, boat cruise in these amazing gorges rising over 200 meters above the rivers in sheer escarpment cliffs created by millions of years of erosion by nature

Aboriginal rock art day. Visit Norlangie Rock & Ubirr Rock art sites. The 2 most significant art sites open to tourism in Kakadu. Your Guide will explain the significance this artwork has for the traditional owners of kakadu. A cultural heritage that is as strong today as is has been for thousands of years
